2 My First Public Wifi Experience
I just arrived minutes ago at Taraccino Cafe on Hennepin off 2nd Street N.E. Today marks the first day as a public wifi user. I’m a geek and this excites me.
Free as in beer
I love when things are free. At Taraccino Cafe, wifi is free. Most small coffee shops offer free wifi and they have my blessing for it. However, I wish the Starbucks by my house offered free wifi for more than 2 hours.
Needless to say this is kinda cool. In a lot of ways I feel like the amazingly mysterious cool guy with lots of money, but simple enough to grace this coffee shop with his time. Okay, maybe that’s a little far-fetched but dude, I’m like a kid in a candy store right now.
Great Italian sodas here! Come check it. See my twitter status for the addy. Later.

Awesome, I know exactly where it is, just didn’t know there was a cafe there. I drive by on my way to school in the morning.
What kind of Italian soda do they have, sounds good! (I’m not a huge fan of coffee unless its full of sugar and milk/cream)
If you’re still looking for more places to check out, you might want to take a look at Open Book over on Washington Ave. It looks like it’s about a mile from Taraccino. I spent a lot of time there when I lived over that way. They have a pretty large coffee shop thing with big tables in the back and no limit on WiFi time. (Oh, and you can use FTP on their network. Other places I’ve checked out have it blocked.)
