I’m going to Nebraska to seal the deal with my fiancee. It will be absolutely epic.
I honestly can’t wait to get up to Nebraska as I can get away from the hustle of “big city living”. It’s time for a small break. I’ll be leaving on the 2nd and returning Sunday afternoon or evening.
Small Town Relevance
What’s beautiful about small towns is the pure relevance and theatrics. Don’t worry, the people are not pretentiously fake by any means. But it’s just awesome how much local news weighs. It’s a relatively big deal when John over on Marilyn Rd. re-sodes his lawn or when a well-known family has a newborn or sends a graduate off to college.
You just don’t find that in big cities mainly due to its size. Honestly it’d be nice to have that kind of community in apartment buildings. It’d make buying a house way less attractive and plus you wouldn’t have to always despise your neighbors. For once you’d actually enjoy their presence in your building
Needless to say it’s always an experience setting foot in a small town for a weekend. But the best part is getting to see in-laws. Additionally my brother in-law and I will be doing something for my bachelor “party” (probably video games and beer). Always a good time.
